Theresa Merrill

Theresa Merrill is a native of Toledo, Ohio and has lived in Avon Lake, Cleveland, Akron, and Cincinnati. An active musician for the past 52 years, Theresa earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Music in Voice Performance degree from the University of Akron. 
Theresa has sung as a chorus member and soloist with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, Blossom Festival Chorus, The Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati and the Knox Presbyterian Church Choir, with which she served as alto section leader and soloist for 26 years. As a choral music educator, Theresa has taught in both public and private schools for 42 years. She is currently director of vocal music and music department chair at The Summit Country Day School in Hyde Park.
Theresa is married to music director, Tom Merrill. Theresa and Tom are the proud parents of Regina Grace, also an accomplished singer.
