8:30 am - Communion
Early worship takes place in York Chapel. This is a casual, small worship service that features communion each Sunday. Attendees usually note a more intimate atmosphere that is very satisfying.
10:30 am - Traditional
The traditional worship service takes place in the main sanctuary and reflects a "reformed and reforming" worship tradition. Our worship blends formal and informal elements with a long tradition of strong, solid theological preaching. Music in worship is a distinctive mark of our church, with our choir of volunteers and professional section leaders. We celebrate communion the first Sunday of the month, with all baptized persons invited to participate. All children are welcome in worship and participate in a children's moment, after which children under five years may leave for special activities. Hearing assistance devices, large print bulletins and hymnals may be requested from an usher. Wheelchair accessible pews are available on each side of the sanctuary.
Fellowship Hour follows the 10:30 am service in Heritage Hall and features coffee, punch, and donut holes or cookies. This is a time for all to meet informally over refreshments. Meeting old friends, renewing acquaintances, greeting new babies or welcoming visitors are just some of the goings on at this time.
